From a distance

I titled this post from a distance because the relationship I'm in will soon be a long distance relationship.

First off let me start by saying I was not even looking for anyone to be with. Neither was he.
Love happens on Gods timing not ours.
I've always been told to stop searching that love will find out, especially when you least expect it. Well I can say I have witnessed this.
It's amazing how awesome it is to just fall in love with someone so unexpectedly.
I'm sure you've also heard that you fall in love with your best friend. Well I can honestly say that this man was my friend for many many years and recently within these last few months became best friends. There for each other when no one else was.
To this day I can't tell you when or how I fell for him, it just happened.
He takes my breath away, makes my heart beat so fast, gives me the biggest butterflies, brings a smile to my face and tears to my eyes.
The last 3 months have honestly been the best months of my life.

As time gets closer to his deployment my heart begins to grow weary. When I'm away from him for more than an hour I feel like a part of me is missing. And soon to be 8 hours away from each other, barely seeing each other I just don't know how long I'll be able to stand not being with him.
I feel that if we make it through this , we can make it through anything.
I love him with everything that is in me. I will do whatever it takes.

My family loves him, which is very rare. And I love his family as if they were my very own.
Everything just seems so perfect, too perfect.
Only God could have planned something so amazing.
I know this journey I'm about to take will not be easy but it will be worth it.
I know that love is strong enough to conquer some of the toughest challenges. And I believe our love for each other is just as strong.

Love

Love is such a precious gift.
When you find it, you will understand that gift.

The moments when you look at him while he is sleeping... Listen to him breathe...

When he leaves his shampoo, body wash and shaving Cream.. You use it just smell like him..

Argue through text just to get him to talk to you...

When you aren't with him all u can do is think about him...

You would do anything just to make him feel your love

Moments

There are moments in life that you wish you could go back to, just to remember that feeling you had.
Or to remember what you were thinking...
That moment just happened to me as I read the last letter Jeff wrote me after we broke up.
Those words in that letter are words that I have been praying to hear for a long time. It's almost as if I was not mature enough or open minded enough at the time to understand what was going on exactly.
I have realized a lot tonight. My heart has grown week these last couple of weeks and I haven't been getting any reassurance or anything to uplift my heart and my thoughts. I'm afraid I'm wearing down to the nub.
As I sat on my couch tonight crying I prayed that god would reveal what it is that I am supposed to see in my life. And in this relationship I'm currently in.
The bravery I had tonight resulted in what I needed to hear and read. I'm thankful I listened to my heart, and sadly I believe it's what I need to be doing more often.
I have a feeling that soon I will be typing another entry weather it be good or bad... I'm hoping it's going to be good. But I'm scared to say that deep down in my gut I feel it's going to be bad!
I can only pray for the best!

just a little thing called "life"

One minute your happy... And those minutes are with you.
The other minute I'm worried to death that your leaving me... And those minutes are when I'm not with you.

Those sporadic conversations about what our first house is going to look like just bring hope and warmth to my heart.

Those times when don't speak at a make me wonder what's on your mind.

And then my favorite is when we both start talking at the same time and we are talking about the same thing!

No matter what I know deep down that were meant to be.

A little taste of my journal

My Heart breaks daily for the longing of my desires
My Soul screams for something more.
My mouth thirst for the purest of water and the finest of foods.
My heart longs to be with the one I love.

Dear Lord place me in the arms of my one true love.
Show me his face, let me feel his touch.
I clench my fist so tightly they almost bleed.
I scream so loudly but one hears me.
I shut my eyes so tight and still through all the tears I see your beautiful face.

My heart is slowly breaking each piece shattering as it falls from my chest.
Will my heart ever be mended.
Dear Lord you know my pleas and you know my hearts greatest desires.
Please hear me Lord. Please bless me with understanding and the patients and may your will be done in my life.

the little things

Have you ever heard
" its the little things in life that matter most"

well I have found this to be true....

He may be having the worst day... and you may get real quite and think to yourself.. oh this is going to be a long night...
but then he looks over at you and takes a deep breath and says you look so pretty tonight.

Just when you think you dont know where you stand in your relationship... he says

" I dont want to sleep another night without you"

"I think we are serious enough for me to have a key"

"Guys this one is a keeper"

just when you think you are doing everything wrong.... he tells you to never stop what you are doing...

its the little things in life that mean the most.. like you both looking up at the stars at the same time.... you saying the same thing at the same time.... text the same thing at the same time...
embarrass the mess out of one another and just laugh... and laugh...:)
its the those little things in life that make me love you more and more everyday....

Love

You have someone right here right now that is willing to give you her heart. Someone who understands the real meaning of love. and doesnt just throw the "L" word around just cause she thinks your cute. But someone who tells you that she loves you everyday. Someone that not only says she loves you but can also show you how she loves you.

I get so mad at everyone who has ruined the word LOVE. who has hurt someone by using that word in false terms.. someone who has been hurt by that word, trys so hard to find out what it really means but keeps failing and eventually gives up.. like in my situation..
Im willing to give him my everything, my all, but he has been hurt too many times.. and its hard for him to trust again... to "LOVE" again..

I am going to do everything in my power to show him how much I love him, and how I am the ONE who is never going to hurt him, who is NEVER going to LEAVE him.
I am going to make him fall in LOVE with me.

He is the one i have dreamed about.  there is finally a face to my prince charming in all my dreams.. God has finally answered my prayers..
But i never thought it would be this complicated.

God I love this man. Help him understand. Help him LOVE again.

Pray For Him :)

Praying for Your Husband

“She does him good…” Proverbs 31:12a; Bless your husband by praying for him!

The Apostle Paul instructed all Christians to pray for one another (Ephesians 6:18). This includes wives’ responsibility and privilege to pray for their husbands. Earnest prayer for your husband is good for him, for you and the spiritual health of your home (Proverbs 31:11-12) Satan desires to destroy your husband, especially his character and his leadership in your relationship. Trust God through prayer as you daily surrender your husband and marriage to the Lord’s wise, loving care.

31 Days of Prayer

Day 1: Pray that your husband will grow spiritually and consider his accountability before the Lord. Pray that he will guard his heart by developing spiritual disciplines—Bible reading and study, prayer, meditation, scripture memorizations, etc. (2 Peter 3:18; Proverbs 4:23)

Day 2: Pray that your husband’s relationship with God and His Word will bear fruit in his life. Pray that he will be a man of wisdom and understanding, fearing the Lord. (Prov. 3:7, 9:10; Ps 112:1)

Day 3: Pray that your husband will be humble and quick to agree with God about his sin. Pray that his heart will be tender toward the voice of the Lord. (Ps. 51:2-4; Micah 6:8)

Day 4: Pray that your husband will grow in leadership skills in your relationship—protecting and providing for you. Pray that he will lead you wisely and love you sacrificially, so that God will be glorified in your marriage. (Eph 5:25-29; Col. 3:19)

Day 5: Pray that your husband will be faithful to his wedding vows. Pray that he will have a desire to cultivate your relationship as a sign of his loyalty and commitment to you, and as a picture of Christ’s love for the Church. (Prov. 20:6; Gen. 2:24)

Day 6: Pray that your husband will love righteousness and hate wickedness, especially the evils of the culture. Pray that he will recognize and avoid wickedness in his own life, and if necessary, take a clear, strong stand against evil. (Prov. 27:12; John 17:15; 1 Cor. 10:12-13)

Day 7: Pray that your husband will safeguard his heart against inappropriate relationship with the opposite sex.  Pray that his heart will be pure and undivided in his commitment to you. (Prov. 6:23-24; Rom. 13:14)

Day 8: Pray that your husband will work hard to provide for your family to the best of his ability. Pray that the character qualities necessary for a successful career and ministry will be a growing part of his character—persistence, decisiveness, strength, an analytical mind, organizational skills, positive relationships with people, determination, etc. (Rom. 12:11; 1 Cor. 15:58)

Day 9: Pray that your husband handle finances wisely, will have discernment concerning budgeting and investments, and will be a good steward of his money in regard to giving to the Lord’s work. Pray that money will  not become a source of discord in your family. (Prov. 23:4-5; Rom. 12:13; Heb. 13:5)

Day 10:  Pray that your husband will cultivate strong integrity, and not compromise his convictions. Pray that his testimony will be genuine, that he will be honest in his business dealings, and will never do anything that he needs to hide from others. (Prov. 20:7; 1 Tim. 1:5, 3:7; Eph. 6:10-12)

Day 11: Pray that your husband will have a humble, teachable spirit and a servant’s heart before the Lord. Pray that he will listen to God and desire to do His will. (Prov. 15:33; Eph. 6:6)

Day 12: Pray that your husband will yield his sexual  drive to the Lord and practice self control. Pray that your sexual  intimacy together will be fresh, positive, and a reflection of selfless love. (Prov. 5:15, 18; 1 Cor. 7:3; Song of Solomon 7:10)

Day 13: Pray that your husband use practical skills to build your family and make wise decisions for your welfare. Pray that he will serve unselfishly. (Gal. 5:13; Phil. 2:3-4)

Day 14: Pray that your husband will speak words that build you and your family and reflect a heart of love. Pray that he will not use filthy language. (Prov. 18:21; Eph. 4:29)

Day 15: Pray that your husband will choose his friends wisely. Pray that God will bring him men who will encourage his accountability before God, and will not lead him into sin. (Prov. 13:20; Prov. 27:17)

Day 16: Pray that your husband will choose healthy, God-honoring activities. Pray that he will not live in bondage to any questionable habits or hobbies, but that he will experience freedom in holiness as he yields to the Spirit’s control. (1 Cor. 6:12, 10:31; 2 Tim. 2:4)

Day 17: Pray that your husband will enjoy his manliness as he patterns his life after Christ and strong men in the faith. Pray for his physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual strength. (Eph. 3:16; 1 Peter 2:21; 1 Cor., 10:11)

Day 18: Pray that your husband will have an eternal perspective—living in light of eternity. Pray that he will reject materialism and temporal values and put God first in his life. (Matt. 6:33; Deut. 6:5; Eph. 5:16; Ps. 90:12)

Day 19: Pray that your husband will be patient and a man of peace. Pray that he will not give in to anger, but will allow the Holy Spirit to control his responses. (Rom. 14:19; Ps. 34:14)
